Some years ago, I worked as a volunteer in Apolobamba for COBIMI, the organisation responsible for establishing Pacha Trek and other projects within the protected area.

During this time I was invited to share in the ceremonies, the fiestas and the daily lives of the locals. It was an experience that I'll never forget and which has left me captivated ever since by the stunning scenery of Apolobamba, it's people and their culture.

Today I continue to support the projects in the area by putting you in contact with the local communities and guides, helping them to obtain work and you to experience Apolobamba with those that know it the best.
